PowerHouse Protein
Client: Art 427 - Package Design
The requirements of this course project were to package a series of three nutritional supplements in a collective and cohesive way. Powerhouse Protein was created in response to and direct opposition of the majority of current protein powder packaging and label design. The package was targeted towards individuals who want or need supplemental protein but do not want to be associated with the connotations of most of the products available. The design choices were made to connote strength, durability and sturdiness, while being in direct contrast to most actually found on the shelf. The protein is housed in a tin, only one color with tints or shades is found per container, only two-dimensionality on the labels, no capital letters and minimal graphical elements used.
